At Action Stations our number one priority is the well being of your students and staff. We provide safe, fun education camps which challenge learning about New Zealand’s natural, cultural and social worlds that is age appropriate.

Key Competencies and Curriculum Links:

Camps are an ideal opportunity to develop and apply the key competencies of managing self, relating to others, participating and contributing and thinking. Our education camps are linked closely to the curriculum and relevant resources included in your camp pack. All activities are pitched to meet the age and skill of the students, from primary to college.

Health and Safety:

Action Stations boast a proud safety record. Our health and safety systems meet Ministry of Education guidelines and are updated regularly. Procedures are in place and are strictly adhered to. We provide you with RAMS forms for your activities. As safety is a combined responsibility we ask teachers to work with us while we take the students through a safety process at the beginning of each camp or trip.

Action Stations works out of many different camp venues. We can find the camp that best suits your needs and desire for a beach, bush, city, or marae experience. Camps range from a cosy bush lodge or a holiday park near the beach to a spacious country or beach lodges for larger numbers. Or how about a really kiwi experience of tenting at beach side camps? With accommodation choices from Waihi – Te Puke we have one to create your desired experience. Avoid disappointment – call us today to pencil in your booking as demand is high for preferred accommodation and weeks in the terms.

Food Provision:

Create more time and fun for yourself and parent helpers by having Action Stations provide healthy and nutritious food. Our cook is present to oversee dinner. Schools bring their own morning, afternoon tea and supper.

If you need a bus to transport your students this can be arranged.

Each education camp programme is different, so prices vary. Programmes are customised to meet your interests, needs and budget.

Classroom Activities:

Our trained teachers understand the effort that is involved in researching and developing relevant classroom resources, so to assist Action Stations provide these for many of the modules. This material can be used to build excitement and anticipation prior to the event and then follow-up to reinforce their learning after the camp. It naturally will fit in with your curriculum and reduces your planning demands. Field resources are provided by Action Stations.

Wet weather:

At Action Stations we respect Mother Nature and we discuss changing weather conditions with your staff. We have some wet weather options available so that your students still have a great time come rain, hail or shine!
