Action Stations has now passed the OutdoorsMark Safety Audit. OutdoorsMark is the national outdoor safety audit programme designed specifically for operations involved in outdoor recreation, education, and adventure programmes. The OutdoorsMark audit provides an independent process for assessing the robustness of operational safety policies, procedures and practices for alignment with currently accepted outdoor sector standards.

Action Stations has now been granted permission to operate on DOC land as an approved concession holder.

TetraAction Corporate Team-Building Competition

TetraAction creates a workplace where:

The winning business will receive a prize package worth $5000 for up to 30
participants. (minimum 10 participants)

Your package will comprise:

  1. Morning session: TetraMap Workshop, a dynamic training tool for better behaviour and
    performance in the workplace. TetraMap is a simple, yet powerful process that identifies
    people’s behavioural diversity and how we best utilise this awareness to develop strong
    and efficient teams.
  2. Lunch is on us!
  3. Afternoon session: The ‘Decisions, Decisions, Decisions’ Team-building Challenge
    is the ultimate test of your group’s strategic decision making abilities, behavioural
    awareness, communication skills and time management skills. The programmes’
    objective is to select and complete the particular challenges most suited to your team’s
    combined strengths and accrue the maximum points possible in the time provided. This is
    a ”team against team” challenge!
  4. Final session: TetraDebrief, this is the critical component linking your newly enhanced
    behavioural awareness with performance in your workplace and how to sustain this in the
    future.

Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. The competition closes on the 23 August 2010.
  2. This competition is open to Bay of Plenty based businesses.
  3. The prize is for a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 30 participants.
  4. Multiple entries are not permitted.
  5. Prize package will occur in Tauranga at Waimarino on 10 September 2010 unless an alternative training date is mutually agreed upon before the end of September.
  6. If the weather is deemed not suitable to run this event on 10 September 2010 then an alternative date shall be arranged that is mutually suitable for all parties.
  7. The winning company will ensure that the participants are physically able to participate in the Waimarino activities.
  8. Waimarino and Action stations are not liable for undisclosed medical conditions that result in injury or illness.
  9. The prize winner will be determined by random draw on 25th August 2010. The winner will be notified on air.
  10. The judge’s decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. In the event of a winner choosing not to accept the prize, the prize shall be redrawn.
  12. The prize is not redeemable for cash or transferable to another company.
  13. All contest entries become the property of Waimarino and Action Stations. All personal details provided to participate in this competition will be held for the purpose of this competition and our database for notification of other events and services.
  14. The company winner shall make themselves available for a photo and article plus a testimonial. Waimarino and Action Stations have the right to use this publicity for any reasonable marketing use. The winner waivers any claim to royalty right or remuneration for such use.
  15. The company’s entry into this contest is deemed acceptance of these contest Terms and Conditions.
